Planetly, a former German provider, develops software that helps companies measure their CO2 emissions. The company was sold to Onetrust in the US in 2022 and integrated into their ESG reporting solution, which offers an automated software offering for CO2 emission measurement and reduction.

CO2 measurement on Planetly is based on a combination of automated data feeds and manual input by the company. Companies can integrate data from various sources, such as accounting, logistics, or energy supply, into the platform. The platform then automatically calculates CO2 emissions. The platform also automatically suggests measures to reduce emissions.
